Inclusion and Environmental Commitment.
Inclusion, Accessibility & Respect
Momentm Events is committed to creating welcoming, inclusive and respectful experiences for everyone.
We want our events to feel accessible whether you are an experienced ultra runner, entering your first endurance event or simply trying something new.
We aim to remove unnecessary barriers to participation and treat people fairly regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, background or running ability.
We will:
Use inclusive and representative imagery and language.
Provide clear event information so people know what to expect.
Consider reasonable accessibility adjustments wherever practical and safe.
Provide appropriate toilet and changing facilities for the event.
Listen to participant feedback and continue improving our events.
Operate zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, abuse or inappropriate behaviour from participants, staff, volunteers, support crew or spectators.
If you have an accessibility requirement, safety concern or another need that may affect your experience, contact team@momentmevents.uk and we will do our best to support you.
Women & SheRACES
Momentm Events supports the principles of the SheRACES Race Guidelines and is committed to helping more women feel confident entering and participating in endurance events.
As part of this commitment:
Women's competition will receive equal prominence and recognition.
Comparable men's and women's prizes will be equal in value.
Participants who become pregnant can defer their entry for up to two years.
Free period products will be available at our events.
Appropriate female toilet provision will be provided.
Private changing space will be available where reasonably practicable.
We will consider breastfeeding and other participant needs when planning event facilities.
Participants with a particular safety concern can contact us about reasonable adjustments, including public-facing results or tracking where practical.
We will review our approach to inclusion and the SheRACES guidelines as our events grow.
Environmental Commitment
Our approach is simple:
Leave it better than we found it.
We aim to reduce unnecessary waste, encourage reusable bottles and cups, provide recycling where practical, use digital communications wherever possible and work with local suppliers where appropriate.
Participants, crews and spectators are expected to respect the land, wildlife and communities that host our events, use the waste facilities provided and leave no trace.
We will keep looking for practical ways to reduce the environmental impact of Momentm Events as we grow.
