ABOUT THE RACE

  • The One Quid Ultra is a last runner standing endurance challenge with a simple twist.

    A set loop starts every hour, on the hour. To continue, you must complete the loop within the hour and pay £1 to take your place on the next lap.

    Finish early and you can use the remaining time to rest, refuel and recover before everyone starts together again.

    Every £1 goes into the prize pot, which grows with every loop completed. The challenge continues until only one runner remains and completes a final solo lap.

    That runner takes the entire pot.

    It’s not about being the fastest. It’s about pacing yourself, managing your energy and deciding how much further you are willing to go.
